Delivering up to 8 Mbps downstream and 640 kbps upstream, Apollo 2 was developed for consumers, Small Office/Home Offices (SOHO) and businesses' requiring high bandwidth for applications such as video conferencing, video-on-demand (VOD), high-speed LAN access and electronic library viewing.

Designed for internal PCI ADSL modem cards, it eliminates the expensive microcontroller required in ADSL modems, which considerably lowers the cost barrier for full-rate ADSL solution.
